Tyre reviews Boto BS68. Page 2 2274

The tire is comfortable on dry asphalt, it really doesn't make noise. But the slightest ice and that's it. These are not winter tires, it's just dangerous to drive on them.

Unfortunately, the tire arrived crooked. And according to the regulations, it is not possible to return rimmed tires. Then the question arises: how to know that the tire is crooked without putting it on the disk? So I was left with these defective tires. I don't know what to do with them, and it's embarrassing to sell them, I don't want to deceive people. It's impossible to drive on such tires. Once again, I realized that a miser pays twice. I don't know where so many positive reviews come from. The tire is noisy, uneven and completely crooked. In a word, China. Thank you very much, Mosavtoshina, for the time and money I've wasted. Customer orientation is zero.

The tire balances poorly, driving on snow is unstable, and it slides sideways. It feels like driving on a new summer tire.

The tire is good overall, I successfully drove through the winter period. It handles the road well, is very soft, and of course, you need to follow the speed limit. I didn't test it on bare ice. The quality-to-price ratio is quite acceptable. I drove at a maximum speed of 160 km/h in dry, frosty weather, and I have nothing bad to say. I'm satisfied with the tire.

The tires turned out to have a curved geometry! The vibration is felt even at low speeds, Under warranty, they were checked on a stand and a verdict was passed - refusal! Due to the fact that all "defects" are within the tolerances of GOST, i.e. no more than 1.5 mm.
At the same time, the "tire fitters" tried to impose wheel alignment, like they were curved! But for some reason, they didn't bother to show which ones were curved. Like, "yes, I don't remember, but let's fix it." It's somehow strange, since before this tire, I had summer tires and nothing was wrong, and during the tire fitting, the wheels were straight!
In general, I do not recommend buying these products that resemble tires! They will never change them for you! They will only tell you with a smart face that your car probably has a recommended range of tires! And they will sympathize with the purchase of this crap! And advise you not to buy it again! Money down the drain!

Right away, I want to note that the price is a plus that outweighs all the minuses of this tire.
In snow - it performs well. And in combination with four-wheel drive - it performs confidently. So far, I haven't gotten my car stuck once, although the snowfalls were the strongest in 100 years.
Handling on snow and slush is quite predictable. Without surprises.
On ice - well, without studs, there are no miracles, so be more careful.
Water - not its element. Aquaplaning if there is water in the ruts - take it as a given.
As a bonus - noise and difficulties in balancing. No matter how hard you try, small vibrations after 120 km/h still remain.- Vehicle:

Two tires turned out to be very crooked, but according to the regulations, it is impossible to return already rimmed tires. And unfortunately, you can only understand if the tire is crooked or not by putting it on the rim. Two tires went to waste. Two are hanging for sale. Once again, I was convinced that China is a lottery... In general, the rubber is not very good.

The tires unpleasantly surprised me.
They are very noisy. After the summer state-owned Chinese tires, which are themselves far from ideal, these turned out to be even worse in all parameters. After a hundred - it feels like you're in an airplane. And this is despite the fact that my car has double glazing in the front.
In general, at speeds after 100, the tires start to behave extremely ambiguously.
They strongly dislike grooves. And especially grooves with water at the bottom. Compared to the summer tires, in similar conditions, it has become noticeably more difficult to hold the car. It constantly tries to catch aquaplaning. It seems that it cannot expel all the water. I don't really imagine how it will behave in snowy conditions during winter.
"Active" entry into turns is also not its forte. It's understeering. Poorly predictable.
In general, probably, it's possible to drive in Moscow traffic jams and at speeds up to 80 km/h. But it's better to keep a safe distance and not expect miracles from the tires. And this is even BEFORE the onset of conditions for which it was made (i.e., winter, cold, snow)
If it weren't for the problems with the availability of 18-inch wheels, I would rather choose the familiar Taurus or Kumho tires.

The tire is soft, balanced with heavy loads. At speeds above 150, vibration begins. Not very suitable for highways, but great for city driving. Braking and acceleration on any surface (except ice) are understandable and predictable. Ice is a fear for any traction.
