I bought them specifically for driving on poorly cleared snow-covered roads, of which, unfortunately, there are a sufficient number on my routes. Studded tires were not an option, since I drive on good asphalt 50% of the time.
I'm satisfied with the driving qualities - it briskly exits any rut due to the wide and sufficiently deep lamellas; the snow under the tread is partially compacted, and the rest is simply scattered to the sides due to the complex pattern scheme; on ice, it slightly "loses its way", but the car's stabilization system helps to stay on the road.
