Tyre reviews Altenzo Sports Tempest V 17

Buying tires from a Chinese brand for the first time, I took a risk, but many of my acquaintances praised the overall production, saying it gets better and better every year, so I bought the 245/45 18, but couldn't find any normal reviews online:

1. The quality is good, I compared it with new, more expensive counterparts, the sidewalls are quite strong, the tread is deep and unique.

2. During the tire change,

I've driven a little so far, but the first impressions are very positive.
Why I chose this particular tire:
1-price
2-speed index
3-tread pattern (based on appearance, not because of beauty, but considering it should handle well on the highway), and I wasn't wrong.
Since I live outside the city and, accordingly, often drive at high speeds, overtaking and lane changes are done without fear and confidently. 160-180 km/h are held steadily, no need to make adjustments. (Haven't sped up more than that)

•In deep snow ?? haven't tried yet. But the little that fell - easily and without tension.
•Acoustic comfort is excellent.
•On poor road surfaces, they are very comfortable.
•Fuel efficiency is average. (The previous tire was "Landseil Winter Lander" which was really fuel-efficient, but at speeds over 160 km/h required more attention)
In general, I'm satisfied with the tire.
P.S. I've been driving for 21 years, worn out a large number of renowned brands on "Lada" and "Kamaz" as well, and I've also driven Chinese cars.
China is really pleasing me.
For regular, everyday use, I definitely recommend.

Excellent pricing policy for tyres of this kind, not inferior to any well-known brand. Mileage on these tyres is not that high, I can't complain, everything is fine, they balance perfectly. I would definitely recommend buying them.

I chose the tires after reading reviews here and on Yandex. The reviews about their stability on ice and the fact that they are quiet and soft caught my attention.

The price turned out to be like that of a set of good European used tires, but there's nothing you can do about it, that's just the way prices are now.

The first disappointments started at the tire shop. On new rims, which had 10-15 grams of weights on the previous Chinese summer used tires, they put 90-110 grams of weights on each wheel for the new tires!!! My friends warned me about this factor before I bought them, but my foolishness and stubbornness led me astray :(

But if that were the only problem. In the first days of running-in, when it was still warm and there was no snow, I started noticing that the tires were skidding more often when accelerating. Calming myself down that the tires were softer and that's why the skidding appeared, I drove until the first snow and ice, enjoying the soft ride and very low noise level from the wheels, I would even say that the summer tires were louder. But when the first snow and ice appeared, I really realized that there's no grip at all. I used to have new Viatti Brina tires, on which I could climb any hills without studs and skidding.

Now I'm sometimes afraid to enter certain turns even in plus temperatures on wet pavement.

I guess I got lucky this year with the winter in Moscow, since there's no ice and snow for half of the season.

These tires are very quiet and comfortable for European winters and calm city driving and traffic jams.

I'll be selling them, peace of mind on slippery roads is priceless. Don't save money on tires and wheels too :D

I've been driving on these tires for 4 years, 1 season as intended - only in winter, then 3 years without removing them at all) Naturally, the handling in the summer is far from the best, after all, this is a winter soft tire, in the winter there were no questions at all, you just need to remember that you're on studded tires, not on spikes.

For its cost - an excellent option, now, unfortunately, such prices are no longer available

Tires for a "warm" winter. So, I'll start with what it doesn't like:
Packed snow, ice - especially bad at holding turns, easily skids and at low speed.
Loose snow on compacted snow - also poorly prevents skidding, although everything is predictable and controlled.
Temperature above +10 - the car starts to feel like it's floating even with the slightest movements.
And now for what this tire is best suited for:
Rain - perfectly throws water out from under itself and even at high speed, driving through puddles doesn't turn into a blow to the steering wheel.
Snowy slush - also throws water out from under itself and continues to grip the asphalt (tried at a speed of 110-120 km/h).
Loose or fresh snow on asphalt (especially snow strips between lanes) - showed excellent control during lane changes on the highway even at a speed of 130 km/h.
On dry asphalt - drives well, within the desire to keep winter tires, excellent.
Noise - not loud, compared to 18" summer wheels and factory Yokohama.
Conclusion: Tires are primarily for city and straight highway driving and for a "warm" winter, an excellent option IF! If you immediately change your tires when it gets warm, if you can drive "grandma-style" when unexpected ice appears, if you slow down significantly when driving through a snow-covered section in a turn, if the roads are cleaned or treated with reagents immediately after snowfall, rather than being packed down to a skating rink condition.
P.S. I didn't drive at temperatures below -10, but at this cold, the tire remained just as soft.
