I was looking for AT tires with the most aggressive tread, but BF disappointed me in the mud. In the size 245/70/16, I didn't find anything interesting. I stumbled upon a photo of Altenzo Alventurer A/T Summer Tires 245/70/16 113,110R, and I started searching for reviews, photos, but there were none. All sellers had the same description and two identical images. I have experience with Chinese tires and have not been disappointed, so I placed an order. Upon initial inspection of the wheels, I noticed the absence of stickers with tire characteristics and the absence of marks for the heavy and light parts of the tire. There was only a Chinese "OTK" stamp, which led me to assume that it was intended for their domestic market. The small protrusions on the tire were stretchy and came off with difficulty, giving the impression of high-quality tires (according to the words of the tire fitter).

At the tire shop, I heard the specialist's groan - Chinese tires, half of the wheels are crooked, can't be balanced, and this one is unknown, now he'll show its runout on the machine, but since he's a master of his craft and can balance even a stool, he'll do it, but doesn't promise that it won't vibrate while driving. To the specialist's surprise, the tire turned out to be even and balanced well. What surprised me was that the weight of the loads on each wheel was almost identical, 60 grams, specifically 20x40g, 25x35g, 35x30g, and 15x45g, respectively. I had never paid attention to how the tire sits on the rim before, but here the rim's flange was deeply seated in the tire's sidewall, protected by a rubber edge. I started examining the markings on the tire and found the previously unknown to me NSS-02-2495 standard rim: 7J. I searched the internet but didn't find much information on what it means. Combining the information I gathered, I assumed it means standard protection of the rim flange with a width of 7J, which matches my size. In terms of noise, it's like all AT tires up to 120 km/h, after which it starts to hum. On asphalt, the handling is very good, it holds the road, doesn't vibrate, and doesn't wobble. It also handles well on gravel and dirt roads, and I haven't had a chance to test it in mud yet. I'm currently satisfied with the tires and recommend them for purchase, but only time will tell.

After purchasing the car, the question arose about good tires, A/T. We have a cottage in the village, Ryazan region. The road is partially through the field, 300 meters near the former lake is almost impassable in the spring and autumn, only on a UAZ. In the village, there is also a piece of 70 meters where water always stands. I had experience with Toyo Open Country A/T on a Ford Explorer. On the highway, it's okay, but with a little snow, mud - it's not very good, the tread gets clogged and dirty quickly. The choice, as usual, is price and quality. Expensive brands have so-so reviews. I liked the Alventurer A/T, first of all, its "aggressive" tread. At the time of purchase, there were almost no reviews, but a few people were driving Chinese cars and, accordingly, Chinese tires, and they spoke positively about both the cars and the tires. I decided to buy a larger size than the standard one, 265/65/18. Partly, the clearance increased a bit, and partly, the car looks higher and more brutal. Everything was installed normally, the front mudguards just strengthened, armored with a metal frame so that they wouldn't swing. The tires fully justified expectations, they hold the road perfectly, entry into turns, aquaplaning, everything is fine, of course, it's desirable to follow the speed regime. There are no skids, even on a wet road, a little snow. I didn't go into the mud, but through the field, mud on the former swamp - it copes even without locks. When it rains for 2-3 days, I feel calm, I know I'll get out.
