ZC Rubber releases two off-road newcomers

Chinese ZC Rubber has added two new off-road tires to its lineup, which will be released under several of the company's brands, such as Goodride, Trazano, and Westlake.

One of the novelties is the Terra Legend SL399 tire of the All-Terrain class, which has a tread pattern with "interlocking" blocks (reminiscent of the design of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2) and is designed for use both off-road and on asphalt.

ZC notes that the increased tread width in combination with the new rubber compound has increased the tire life, including when operating in harsh conditions, while the large shoulder lugs increase traction in mud, and the sidewall design was developed, among other things, to enhance grip when driving off-road with reduced pressure. The tires are available in sizes with a rim diameter from 15 to 20 inches.

The second novelty is called Rugged Legend SL339, which means that its manufacturer, presumably, refers it to the Rugged-Terrain category, and, in addition to providing good off-road capability, attention was also paid to increasing comfort on paved surfaces.

SL339 has a pattern with massive blocks, two wide longitudinal zigzag-shaped grooves, stone ejectors, and open shoulder areas, which, according to the manufacturer, is designed to provide high traction off-road throughout the life of the tire, while the sidewalls have a varying design, and the buyer can decide which one is better suited to the appearance of his car. This model is also available in sizes with a diameter of 15-20 inches.

Both new tires have the M+S marking, but the snowflake symbol on the sidewalls is absent, which means they did not undergo certification tests on snow.
