Yokohama has become a partner of BMW M in motorsport
Yokohama Rubber has signed an agreement to supply tires for the BMW M motorsport division, with which it will collaborate in the 2026 24-hour race at the "Nürburgring" and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) championship.
The companies have already worked together in the famous endurance race from 1980 to 1990, winning two championship titles during this time, and now the partnership is being renewed after a nearly 40-year hiatus, with Yokohama saying they are aiming for new victories.
BMW M Motorsport will participate in the SP9 class with the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, which will be equipped with Yokohama ADVAN A005 slicks or ADVAN A006 rain tires in sizes 300/680 R18 at the front and 330/710 R18 at the rear.

"We are very pleased that Yokohama will be the official partner of BMW M Motorsport during the competitions at the "Nürburgring" — noted the CEO of BMW M, Franciscus van Meel, adding that "their support allows our team to fully focus on what is most important for BMW M Motorsport — pushing the limits on every lap. We expect a very successful season in endurance racing".
In 2026, the 24-hour race at the "Nürburgring" will take place from May 14 to 17.
