Wanli Tire has begun a recall in the USA of 638 off-road tires Aptany Eco Sendero M/T2 of size LT265/75R16, which were manufactured at a plant in Guangzhou (Guangdong Province, China). The tires were released from the 35th week of 2021 to the 27th week of 2022, and the reason for the recall was the danger of delamination of the sidewalls, which can cause cracks, loss of pressure, and an accident.

In September 2025, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) informed Wanli that the tires did not pass the high-speed strength tests according to the FMVSS 139 standard. The supplier responded that the tires are designed for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of over 4.5 tons, i.e., a different standard applies to them, but the NHTSA pointed out that the tread depth of the tires is 12.3 mm, and the FMVSS 139 regulations must be observed. After that, the recall procedure was initiated.

Aptany Eco Sendero M/T2 have a three-layer carcass construction with a reinforced metal cord breaker and are designed for the most severe off-road conditions.
