New UHP tires Falken have been released

The company Sumitomo has introduced to the North American market the sports all-season tires Falken FK460 A/S in a new version, made using Silent Core technology and featuring a foam insert in the internal cavity that reduces noise levels. The new version was also developed for electric vehicle owners with quiet powertrains.

The tread pattern with closing lamellas and gradually opening grooves remains unchanged and still includes canyon-like channels (Canyon Groove Technology) designed to increase braking efficiency on snowy roads. At the same time, the rubber compound is made using Advanced 4D Nano Technology, which makes the tires suitable for use throughout the year (in regions with mild winters) and provides an increased service life.

"We are proud to introduce this novelty, and our development team has made significant efforts to ensure that the FK460 A/S Silent Core tires retain the impressive qualities of the Azenis FK460, while also improving acoustic comfort," said Tsuyoshi Johnson, Sumitomo's Director of Planning in North America. "We believe that the task has been fully accomplished, and we are pleased to officially offer the new product to our customers."

The Falken Azenis FK460 A/S Silent Core tires have been released in 16 sizes, from 235/45ZR18 to 285/35ZR22, which fit numerous electric vehicle models, such as the Audi E-Tron S, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, Lucid Air, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and more. The warranty mileage is 80,000 km.
