The 20 millionth Ikon tire has been released

Ikon Tyres has announced the release of its jubilee, 20-millionth tire under its own Ikon brand. Previously, the tire plant in Vsevolozhsk, the largest in Russia, belonged to the Finnish Nokian Tyres, and in 2023, its owner became "Tatneft", which carried out rebranding, renaming premium and mid-range tires to Ikon Autograph and Ikon Character, respectively.

"It was essential to ensure the recognition of the new brand in a short time, to form an understanding among car enthusiasts that we have preserved everything for which they highly value our products - technologies, recipes, approaches to production and quality control," said Andrei Pantiukhov, General Director of Ikon. "The production of 20 million tires under the Ikon brand is proof that the market has accepted the changes. The production volume depends solely on the level of demand, which is steadily growing."

In 2025, Ikon strengthened its position in the Russian market, increasing its share to 13% (12% in 2024 and 10% in 2023), while in segments A and B, the company maintained its leadership with a figure of 35% (33% in 2024 and 25% in 2023).

Not long ago, the plant was visited by the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, and the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov.

"The plant did not close during difficult times but continued to work and increase production volumes. It effectively applies lean production technologies," noted the Governor, adding that the plant's capacity is up to 17 million tires per year, the staff consists of more than 1,400 people, and the revenue for 2025 is 29 billion rubles.

In early 2026, it was announced that the new owner of Ikon Tyres became "Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding", controlled by the government of Tatarstan.
