In "Tatshin" told about the oversaturation of the market with Chinese truck tires at dumping prices

As reported during a business Monday in Nizhnekamsk, the CEO of LLC "Tatshina" (which manages the Kama Tyres tire complex) Igor Prokopyev, over the past two years the company has been operating under a tough sanctions regime, and for example, the geography of export deliveries has decreased from 48 to 22 countries of the world. Compared to 2023, sales decreased by 4.8%, which, as the head of "Tatshina" noted, was due to planned equipment maintenance and market oversaturation with Chinese cargo tires at dumping prices.

Prokopyev added that Kama Tyres continued to implement large-scale investment projects in the amount of 5.1 billion rubles last year, aimed at expanding production volumes, improving product quality, etc.

In 2024, Kama Tyres produced and sold 12.5 million tires, and its share in Russian tire production is 35%, with over 500 product items in the assortment. In 2025, the company plans to produce and sell 12.6 million tires, and the list of promising projects includes the production of new generation passenger tires and expansion of the agricultural machinery tire range. In addition, it is planned to master the production of motorcycle and karting tires in the future.

The head of the Nizhnekamsk district of Tatarstan, Ramil Mullin, stated that "the tire complex is the pride of the city and the republic". "Every third tire produced in Russia is a Nizhnekamsk tire. The entire range is produced here, from bicycle to truck tires. All the best trends, developments, and technologies are applied here, and we know that our tire complex is a locomotive in the development of innovative solutions," he emphasized.
