In Russia, there are fewer "gray" tires

In Russia, the number of violations in the sale of tires has decreased significantly, reports Autonews.ru with reference to CRPT (operator of the "Honest Sign" marking).

According to CRPT, in February 2026, the number of violations decreased by 71% year-over-year - from 240 to 70 thousand cases, and in the winter of 2025-2026, their number decreased by 69%, from 906 to 282 thousand cases.

It is also reported that in February 2026 (compared to February 2025) the number of cases of selling products without marking decreased by 74%; the sale of goods not introduced into circulation - by 60%; and sales with violations of technical regulations - by 58%.

At the moment, the marking system is integrated with 27 government agencies that receive data on violations online and have the opportunity to take measures promptly, and not so long ago, the Ministry of Industry and Trade prepared a project to introduce mandatory marking of auto parts.
