Triangle revealed details about new winter tires
From August 19 to 21, Triangle held a presentation of new winter tires, Triangle EffeXIce TF402, in several cities in northern China, which are planned to be released on the local market before the end of the year.

The new Triangle tires are made from a special silicone-based rubber compound designed to provide optimal grip over a wider temperature range, including in freezing temperatures, while the tread pattern has been optimized for more even pressure distribution in the contact patch, resulting in improved evenness and extended tire life.

The novelty features an asymmetric tread pattern, and the design of the inner zone with V-shaped grooves and studs arranged in a checkerboard pattern is designed for rapid water and snow evacuation, while the wide blocks in the outer zone improve handling when cornering.

The tread contains numerous zigzag-shaped lamellas that increase grip when driving on slippery surfaces, and their 3D shape increases the stability of the blocks, resulting in improved handling.

Initially, the tires will be released on the Chinese market in nine sizes, such as 245/45 R18.
