Subaru has chosen Dunlop tires for its new crossovers

Sumitomo Rubber Industries has become the supplier of tires under the Dunlop brand for two new electric crossovers from Subaru: the compact urban Uncharted and the larger Trailseeker with improved off-road capabilities.

The Uncharted will be equipped with Dunlop tires on the American market, and the Trailseeker in Japan, and for both electric vehicles, the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 tires have been approved, whose tread pattern is optimized to reduce noise, and the rubber compound has been improved to reduce rolling resistance, which increases the range without recharging.

For the Ucharted and Trailseeker, tires are supplied in sizes 235/60 R18 and 235/50 R20 respectively.

The Uncharted has also been equipped with Dunlop e.Sport Maxx tires, which have the same tread pattern and characteristics, but are made using the Nano Black technology, which makes the black lettering on the sidewalls more contrasting and noticeable.

The tires are installed on the crossover in the size 235/50 R20.
