How much are Russians willing to spend on tires
About half of Russian motorists are ready to spend from 70 to 100 thousand rubles on buying tires, while 40% usually spend on rubber from 50 to 70 thousand rubles, and 13% - more than 100 thousand rubles, reports Autonews.ru with reference to the data of a survey conducted by the CDEK.Shopping service.
40% of respondents stated that they buy tires less often than once every two years, a third said that they change them every two years, and 5% - once a year. About 40% of those surveyed noted that they try to buy a new set before the need for seasonal "re-shoeing", while 36% do this already in the midst of the season, and 20% - "as needed".
Drivers were also asked what they focus on when buying tires, and about 70% said it was the price. In addition, 54.2% of respondents pay attention to the brand, and 48.3% - to the reviews of other car owners.
Such a parameter as noise level is considered by only 7% of respondents, which, as analysts noted, is due to the fact that "such a characteristic is difficult to check without a full test drive".
In response to the question of how often they encounter tire damage, more than half of the motorists (56.4%) said that "regularly". 27.3% noted that the tires wore out too quickly, and 20% were dissatisfied with the low level of traction. Noise is also a problem, which was stated by more than 42% of respondents.
