Nexen tires are approved for Kia EV3
Nexen Tires является поставщиком шин для нового компактного электрического кроссовера, который сразу же стал самым популярным электрокаром в Корее после выхода на рынок. В комплектацию EV3 была включена шина Nexen N’Fera Supreme S — флагманская всесезонная модель бренда на местном рынке, предназначенная для автомобилей премиум-класса, в том числе электрических.
Шины для EV3 выполнены по технологии шумоподавления NRS (Noise Reduction System), то есть вставка из звукопоглощающего материала внутри шины уменьшает резонансный шум и улучшает акустический комфорт.
Шумность также была снижена при помощи оптимизации рисунка протектора за счет использования технологии искусственного интеллекта, о чем говорит маркировка AI Technology на боковых стенках.
Производитель заверяет, что первоначальный рисунок протектора сохраняется даже при 50-процентном износе, тогда как равномерное распределение нагрузок улучшает управляемость при использовании шин на тяжелых и высокомощных автомобилях. Помимо этого, резиновая смесь 4D Compound усилила сцепление, а гладкая поверхность боковин уменьшила сопротивление воздуха, что положительно сказывается на энергоэффективности.
Nexen впервые начала поставлять шины зарубежным автопроизводителям в 2012 году, после чего продолжила расширять присутствие в сегменте первичной комплектации и, следовательно, повышать узнаваемость своего бренда. В 2016-м было начато сотрудничество с Porsche, а сейчас шины Nexen закупают и другие ведущие мировые автопроизводители, такие как Stellantis, Mercedes, BMW и Audi.
В Корее Nexen поставляет шины для 11 электромобилей локальных брендов, что является рекордом среди местных шинных производителей, а в будущем планируется участвовать в проектах по электрификации линеек ведущих мировых автомобильных марок.

The Nexen N’Fera Supreme S tire, the brand's flagship all-season model in the local market, designed for premium vehicles, including electric ones, was included in the EV3 configuration.
The tires for the EV3 are made using the NRS (Noise Reduction System) noise reduction technology, which means that the sound-absorbing material insert inside the tire reduces resonance noise and improves acoustic comfort.
Noise has also been reduced through the optimization of the tread pattern using artificial intelligence technology, as indicated by the AI Technology marking on the sidewalls.
The manufacturer assures that the initial tread pattern is maintained even at 50% wear, while the even distribution of loads improves handling when using tires on heavy and high-performance vehicles. In addition, the 4D Compound rubber compound has increased grip, and the smooth surface of the sidewalls has reduced air resistance, which has a positive effect on energy efficiency.
Nexen first started supplying tires to foreign automakers in 2012, after which it continued to expand its presence in the original equipment segment and, consequently, increase brand awareness. In 2016, cooperation with Porsche began, and now Nexen tires are also purchased by other leading global automakers such as Stellantis, Mercedes, BMW, and Audi.
In Korea, Nexen supplies tires for 11 electric vehicles of local brands, which is a record among local tire manufacturers, and in the future, it plans to participate in projects for the electrification of the lines of leading global automotive brands.
