Kumho tires are approved for Volkswagen Multivan

Kumho Tire announced that it has become a supplier of tires for the factory-equipped Volkswagen Multivan minivan, which has been produced in various versions since 1949. 

For the seventh-generation Multivan, Kumho Ecsta HS52 tires have been homologated, which were designed to provide a balance between comfort and safety, and, as the manufacturer notes, are well suited for both family and sports cars. Ecsta HS52 have a tread pattern with large blocks, designed to reduce vibrations and noise, as well as to stabilize traction, and in early 2024, the tires took third place with a rating of "Good" in the ADAC test. In addition, in the latest major test by Auto Bild, the tires were able to take fourth place.

"Supplying tires for the Multivan T7 is of great importance, as this model has been in production almost since the company's founding," said Kim In Soo, Executive Director of Sales in the Original Equipment sector at Kumho. "Automakers highly value the technology and quality of our products, and we continue to develop our partnership with Volkswagen, which has previously approved our tires for the Taos, Jetta, and ID.4".

On the Multivan T7, Kumho tires are mounted in sizes 235/55 R17 and 235/50 R18.
