Dunlop tires are approved for the Stark Varg MX electric bike
The universal motocross tires Dunlop Geomax MX34 have been chosen by the Spanish company Stark Future for the standard equipment of the fully electric motorcycle Varg MX, which "confirms the reputation of Dunlop as a reliable supplier of tires for many leading world manufacturers of off-road bikes," the tire manufacturer's press service reported.
Stark Varg MX was presented in 2022 and attracted attention with its performance and range on par with traditional 450-cubic centimeter motorcycles, but with significantly lower operating costs and the ability to operate almost silently. In 2025, the Varg MX received a number of modifications, including the latest motocross tires from Dunlop.
Dunlop Geomax MX34 is designed for use on soft and intermediate surfaces and is positioned in the brand's lineup between the Geomax MX14 for mud and sand and the Geomax MX53 for hard surfaces, and the manufacturer notes that in combination with the instantly available torque of the Varg MX, the tire will allow for improved track performance.
Compared to the previous generation tires - Dunlop Geomax MX33 - the characteristics in turns and control during sliding on the front and rear axles have been improved, providing the necessary stability that is crucial in motocross competitions. Additionally, Dunlop's patented Progressive Cornering Block technology ensures effective shock absorption and reliable ground contact.
As noted by Miguel Morais, Manager of Original Equipment at Dunlop Motorcycle Europe, the partnership with Stark Future indicates that both brands are committed to introducing innovations in motocross, and Dunlop tires "will provide riders with confidence in various conditions, allowing them to give their all."
Previously, Dunlop motocross tires have been included in the equipment of models from various leading brands, such as Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, KTM/GasGas, and Husqvarna, but this is the first case where they will be installed on a fully electric motorcycle in this segment.
Anton Wass, founder and CEO of Stark Future, emphasized that the company intends to make its offer as beneficial as possible for customers, and Dunlop tires were chosen based on customer feedback and "clearly led in surveys." "For this reason, the choice of Dunlop as a partner for the first upgrade of the Varg MX was a logical decision, reflecting our desire to offer all riders motorcycles that maximally meet their needs," he added.
The Geomax MX34 tires are installed on the Stark Varg MX in sizes 80/100-21 at the front and 110/90-19 at the rear.
