Tires for low-quality roads
The quality of roads does not always meet high requirements, unfortunately, this is a reality not only in our country but also in many other countries. Nevertheless, there is a pattern as to why some manufacturers, despite the importance of tire strength and the ability to withstand road aggression, intentionally reduce durability. The issue here is not a global conspiracy, as it may seem at first glance.
First of all, it should be noted that the trend to reduce durability began in the era of the development of so-called "ECO-tires". A smaller number of threads in the steel breaker's weaving, thinner sidewalls do not contribute to increased strength, but rather the opposite. However, these changes contribute to reduced rolling resistance. The reduction in tire mass and the impact on deformations directly affect fuel consumption and, as a consequence, CO2 emissions.
Tire company engineers today pursue only this goal. Reducing rolling resistance has become a real race, as it is a guarantee of success and demand in the growing segment of electric cars. In the near future, it will be impossible to imagine buying tires for an electric car without the corresponding homologation, which, in turn, can only be obtained with the permission of the electric car manufacturer. That's how a direct dependence on improving the rolling resistance characteristic, but reducing strength, arises.
What to do?
First of all, there is no need to avoid these tires. Yes, the strength of "ECO-tires" is not very high, but if you follow the recommendations for internal pressure, there should be no problems. Otherwise, bulging or sidewall rupture cannot be avoided. Yes, this type of damage is a classic for "eco-segment" tires on low-quality roads. Moreover, it is often irreparable damage.

Second, the most interesting solution may be to purchase tires from budget brands. As paradoxical as it may seem, this can really help. The fact is that "Cordiant" and "Kama" tires are still far from developing tires with reduced rolling resistance. In addition, these companies understand the reality of our roads and make special adaptations. In other words, "our" tires are not so easy to burst. Therefore, when buying budget tires from domestic production, know that yes, they may be more voracious and inferior in some characteristics. But they are definitely more durable than foreign analogs.
