Bridgestone tires have been chosen for the Isuzu Erga EV electric bus

The Bridgestone Corporation has announced that it will supply Bridgestone V-Steel Rib Lug G623 tires for the Isuzu Erga EV, Japan's first low-floor electric bus, which is "set to play a key role in the transition of local public transportation to carbon neutrality," the tire company reported.

Bridgestone adds that when using bus tires in urban environments, they often wear out too quickly due to constant acceleration, braking, and cornering, and the G623 tires feature an optimized tread pattern that prevents the occurrence and development of uneven wear. This increases the tire's lifespan, and fleets can improve their productivity.
