Vianor network is preparing to lay off employees
The Vianor Oy trade and service network has announced that in order to "adapt to the market situation and demand level, as well as to increase profitability," it intends to reduce the number of dealer centers and lay off employees, including temporary ones, in Finland. It is reported that the new measures will affect all 500 network employees in the country.
Vianor notes that the new measures may lead to the temporary layoff of any network employee in Finland for a period not exceeding 90 days and a reduction of no more than 40 employees. The layoffs are planned for 2025, and negotiations with employees will last for at least six weeks.
Vianor is the largest tire trade and service network in Northern Europe, which includes 174 centers in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. In 2023, the network's sales, which is part of Nokian Tyres, amounted to 344 million euros.
In Russia, after Nokian's departure, the network was renamed to "Ivanor".
