Sailun and Changan Strengthen Cooperation

Not so long ago, the Thai market saw the premiere of the compact electric crossover Changan Nevo Q05, for which specially prepared tires Sailun Atrezzo Elite 2 (CS51) in size 225/60 R17 are supplied, which have reduced rolling resistance and thereby increase the range between charges. In addition, as the manufacturer emphasizes, the balance between economy, safety, and acoustic comfort has been improved, and the tires are also optimized to work effectively in the conditions of Southeast Asia, i.e., they cope with high temperatures and provide a high level of grip during heavy rains.

The Nevo Q05 is produced at Changan's plant in Thailand, and the tires for its equipment are manufactured in Vietnam, and in Sailun they note that this is an example of how Chinese automobile and component manufacturers create supply chains outside of China.

Sailun and Changan have been strategic partners for a long time, and earlier, Sailun ESL R01 tires (in size 165/70 R14) were homologated for the Changan Lumin electric city car, and Sailun Erange Performance E01 (225/50 R18) - for the Deepal L06 sedan.
