Growth of Prometeon-Heffernan partnership in Ireland

In Ireland, Prometeon Tyre Group claims to have achieved "significant growth" through its partnership with Heffernan Tyres, which began in 2020.

The Italian tyre brand says the launch of new tyres under the Prometeon brand marks a new chapter in the company's activity in the Irish market. Steve Tift said the collaboration between the companies has helped establish a 5 percent market share in Ireland, attributing the "determination and expertise" of Heffernan Tyres as "a major contribution to this success".

Following the initial collaboration on truck and bus tyres, agricultural tyres and OTR product lines have been added. The diversification has helped to consolidate Heffernans' position as the brand's exclusive distributor and lay the foundations for future growth.
