Russians named their preferred summer tire brands
Experts from the analytical agency "Autostat" polled Russian car owners to find out which summer tire brands they consider for their next purchase. Respondents could name several brands, and the poll showed that every fourth driver (25.5%) prefers the Japanese Yokohama, which has not left Russia and continues to produce tires at its plant in the Lipetsk region.
The top 5 most preferred brands also included Michelin (23.4%), Bridgestone (23.2%), Pirelli (21.3%) and Continental (19.4%), all of which, except Pirelli, are not officially supplied to the Russian market and are available only through parallel imports.
Next come Goodyear (18.6%), Hankook (18.4%), Kama (16.6%), Cordiant (16.1%) and Viatti (10.1%), while other brands did not gain 10% of the votes, although Ikon Tyres and Kumho were close to this threshold. Among Chinese brands, Triangle (3.7%) and Sailun (2.9%) are leading.

The poll involved over 3,000 car owners.
