A million Alliance Agri Star II agricultural tires have been sold

Sales volumes of the Alliance Agri Star II agricultural tire have reached 1 million units on the global market, which "confirms their effectiveness and innovation, as well as their growing popularity among farmers and agricultural specialists around the world," according to Yokohama-ATG (which was formed after the acquisition of Alliance Tire Group in 2016).

The Agri Star II was introduced in 2020 and, as the company emphasizes, "changed the rules of the game in the agricultural tire market with its unparalleled durability, traction, and off-road capability." According to Angelo Noronha, President and CEO of Y-ATG, "one million tires sold is not just a number, it's proof of the tires' ability to meet the real challenges of modern agriculture." "We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to our customers who made it possible," he added.

The Agri Star II was created in close collaboration with farmers, and one of its key features is the Stratified Layer Technology (SLT), designed to provide a high level of traction throughout the life of the tire. Each tread lug has a dual-layer construction at different angles, and as the first layer wears out, the second layer begins to function, and the traction, as the manufacturer emphasizes, remains high even when the tread is 40% worn.

The tread blocks also have a polygonal shape, which increases traction in difficult field conditions, while the rubber compound is designed to increase resistance to wear and damage when working on stubble, and the central tread zone design is optimized to improve stability and comfort when driving on the road.

The tires are available in a wide range of sizes (recently introduced 65 series tires), which should meet the needs of farmers around the world, and their suitability for use at speeds up to 65 km/h (speed index D) makes them even more versatile. This spring, it is planned to add additional models to the lineup for new applications.

The sale of the millionth Agri Star II tire coincided with the 70th anniversary of the Alliance brand, which Y-ATG is celebrating in 2025. As Noronha stated, the new successes are due not only to the characteristics of the AgriStar II but also to "Alliance's commitment to innovation, high product quality, and meeting customer needs." "As we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Alliance, we remain committed to supporting farmers with advanced solutions that help them overcome challenges and achieve success in their work," he emphasized.

Y-ATG has representations in 120 countries around the world, and its product range includes over 3,500 items, including tires for agriculture, forestry, construction, and more.

Not so long ago, it was announced that the Rostselmash group of companies intends to install Alliance Agri Star II tires on its equipment.
