Pirelli has become a partner of the 2026 Winter Olympics

The Pirelli company has announced that it has become a partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will take place in February-March 2026 in three regions of Italy: Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige. The collaboration with Fondazione Milano Cortina, which was announced on June 5, will last until the end of the Games and will include, among other things, the supply of tires for the Olympic park, which will include cars from Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Lancia and Maserati.

"Thanks to the partnership with the Games, we will be able to demonstrate the superiority of our winter products in a segment where we are one of the market leaders," said Andrea Casaluci, CEO of Pirelli. "In fact, we equip about 50% of premium and luxury class cars with winter tires in sizes from 19-inch diameter. We are also proud to support an event of great sporting value, which will attract attention to our country from all over the world."

Fondazione Milano Cortina CEO Andrea Varnier added that the foundation will proudly collaborate with a company known worldwide for its innovations and technologies.

"Pirelli has undoubtedly played a pivotal role in ensuring the success and creating a high reputation of the Italian industry, and the company is also historically linked to sports and major international events, creating unique opportunities for improving brand recognition," Varnier said. "The quality and innovation that are inherent in Pirelli's offering will help ensure effective management of the key aspects of the Winter Games."

Pirelli has been implementing various projects in sports since 1907, from football to car racing and from sailing to tennis. In the motorsport segment, the company is currently participating in more than 350 competitions around the world.
