Pirelli to participate in Milan Design Week

Pirelli Design will present branded versions of the Kutyna chair and LaFlaminia lamp, designed and patented by Pier Paolo Rauro, founder of the Roman studio Archi.mo.ra, as part of Milan Design Week.

Both pieces of furniture have a telescopic structure and are inspired by folding glasses that were popular in Italy (and in the USSR) from the 1960s to the 1980s, and the new versions are distinguished by rubberized details and Pirelli symbolism.

As noted in Pirelli Design, the launch of the new project "marks the beginning of a collaboration based on shared values such as Italian style, attention to detail, and the ability to rethink the past in a modern way".

The premiere of Kutyna and LaFlaminia with the new design will take place on April 23 during one of the events of the Fuorisalone program, and they will go on sale in July of this year.
