Petlas releases new bus tires

Petlas introduces two new bus tires to the market, which were first presented at the recent IAA Transportation 2024 exhibition in Hanover, Germany.

The new tires for intercity buses are called Petlas SH Coach (all-position) and Petlas RH Coach (for the steering axle), and the manufacturer claims that both novelties have improved fuel efficiency and are suitable for use in any conditions, including winter, as indicated by the 3PMSF marking. The tires are available in 295/80 R22.5 size.

According to Sema Oner, Petlas marketing manager, during the development of the new tires, the goal was to equip them with practical advantages that are important for daily operation. For this reason, the tires combine economy with improved comfort levels, as "we understand that every trip is important".

Turkish company Petlas produces a wide range of tires from automotive to aviation, and investments in truck and bus tire production began in 2010.
