About the prices of tires in Russia

In some regions of Russia, the season of changing tires to winter ones has already begun, for example, in Siberia and the Far East, car owners "re-shoe" already in September, and in the Urals and central part of the country - in November. At the same time, the leaders in sales of winter tires are (if not to consider Moscow and St. Petersburg) Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don with a share of 10%.

According to "Alfa-Leasing", in the upcoming season, tires in Russia have risen in price by 9%. At the same time, if the prices for summer and all-season tires have increased (by 12 and 6% respectively), then in the segment of winter tires, a decrease of 10% is noted. It is noted that for the average driver, replacing a tire in 2024 will cost about 72% of the car maintenance.

Experts add that 84% of Russian consumers in the corporate sector (purchase tires for trucks and special equipment) are ready to choose Chinese tires for themselves, and 15% are already doing so. The most popular brands are Triangle, Sailun and Linglong. At the same time, the top 3 include "Kama", Michelin and Bridgestone with shares of 15 and 12% respectively.
