New Light Truck Tire Semperit

Continental has released a new summer tire Semperit Van-Life 3, specifically designed for use on light trucks and vans, with a focus on improving durability and reliability.

As the manufacturer notes, summer commercial tires are in high demand across Europe, as during the pandemic many people preferred to shop online, and this habit has persisted, resulting in more and more packages being delivered directly to the customer's door, and requiring more and more vans, which need tires.

To help buyers reduce their expenses, the developers made the tires more durable and also reduced rolling resistance using a new rubber compound. The block-type tread pattern increases the stiffness of the tread, and the closed shoulder design in combination with the reinforced tire construction increases the lifespan of the tires.

The contact patch shape has been optimized to improve handling and rapid braking on dry pavement, while the connected blocks in the shoulder areas provide the necessary stability in turns and high traction and braking properties.

The rubber compound has also been improved to reduce the likelihood of cuts and other damage, while the tread pattern has been designed to improve tire durability in challenging road conditions.

Semperit Van-Life 3 is available in 22 sizes with diameters from 14 to 17 inches and a maximum load capacity of up to 1250 kg (in the 215/75 R16C size). According to the EU labeling system, the novelty received a "B" rating for wet braking and noise, as well as a "C" rating for rolling resistance.
