Nexen N’Blue S will become the brand's global model
The summer passenger tires Nexen N’Blue S, which are already available, for example, in Europe and Russia, will become a global model of the brand and will go on sale in Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region, which should accelerate the expansion of the Korean tire manufacturer in the global aftermarket.
"After the success in Europe, we are launching this product in emerging markets to diversify our revenue structure and ensure long-term growth," the company says.
The list of new markets where N’Blue S will be launched includes Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia in Latin America, as well as Australia and Malaysia in the APR. As noted in Nexen, all these countries have a stable demand for summer tires due to the warm climate with relatively low seasonal fluctuations, and N’Blue S are designed specifically for such conditions.
Nexen N’Blue S is a High-Performance summer tire with an optimized contact patch that improves handling in various conditions and reduces rolling resistance, while the multifunctional rubber compound with evenly distributed ingredients is designed to enhance traction on wet roads.

The tires also have the EV Root marking, which Nexen equips products with that are adapted for use on both conventional and hybrid and electric vehicles, and the company notes that as the electrification of the global automotive market accelerates, they plan to increase sales by offering tires that are optimally suited for vehicles with any powertrains. Previously, N’Blue S has been successful in the original equipment segment and has been homologated for a number of vehicles, including electric ones, such as the Hyundai Casper EV, Kia Niro, and PV5.
"N’Blue S is a key strategic model that will help us modernize our summer lineup and bring technologies proven in the OE sector to the aftermarket," said John Bosco (Hyun Sok) Kim, CEO of Nexen, adding that "to increase our revenue, we plan to gradually expand our presence in regions with stable year-round demand for summer tires."
