
An explosion occurred at the Continental plant in Hanover
At least one person was injured in an explosion of a heating boiler in the building of the Continental plant in Hanover, according to Deutsche Welle.
The fire department responded to reports of the explosion on Thursday morning, March 6. According to a representative of ContiTech, a subsidiary of Continental, one person was slightly injured, and six others were examined by the company's own medical service.
It is noted that around 10 am on the sixth floor of the building, the boiler exploded, after which the blast wave blew out the windows, and part of the roof caught fire. Local residents said they heard a loud bang. The cause of the explosion is being established.
