The "Tires" session will be held for the first time at the ForAuto forum

The company "Cordiant" will be a partner of the "Tires" session, which will be held for the first time as part of the annual ForAuto forum, organized by the analytical agency "Autostat". The 2026 forum will take place on February 26 in Moscow, and its participants will include over 800 representatives of the automotive industry.

The event will be attended by Cordiant's Marketing Director, Ekaterina Guseva, and the company notes that the holding of a separate session on the tire sector indicates the importance of this market for the automotive industry.

"The tire market is directly related to the automotive market," Guseva said. "Last year was difficult for the car market, demand for new cars fell by 16% by the end of the year, which inevitably affected the passenger tire market - by the end of 2025, we are seeing a decline of 17% in this segment."

Session participants will also discuss other factors that affected the domestic tire market last year, what forecasts Cordiant makes for 2026, what trends are already being observed in the industry, and "what to expect from Chinese brands, which still account for 75% of total tire imports".

On February 26, a thematic session dedicated to production and localization in the Russian automotive market will also take place, and Guseva will talk about how the former Russian plants of Bridgestone and Continental were restarted, which are now part of Cordiant. Attention will also be paid to the release of spark plugs under the Cordiant brand to the market, which are produced at the former Bosch plant in Engels.

"In the context of the localization theme, listeners will be interested to learn about the output of the Gislaved tire brand, transferred as a result of the deal to purchase Russian assets of the German Continental "Cordiant", to the premium segment of the market. And also about the launch of the Cordiant umbrella brand for spark plugs, known to the market under the Bosch brand", the tire company notes.
