At "Belshina" they increased the strength of agricultural tires

Belshina has started using a new textile cord in the production of all radial tires for agricultural equipment, which has made it possible to increase the strength of the breaker and also to enhance the connections between the layers of the breaker belt, reports Shinnik.

According to Anna Naradovskaya, the head of the design and technology department of Belshina's large-size tire plant, work on introducing the new cord began in 2024 and consisted of a set of measures in which specialists from several departments of the company took part, such as the tire design and construction management of the engineering and technical center and the central factory laboratory of the IT Center.

"And the desired result has been achieved, as a consequence - in all tires of this segment produced since the beginning of the new year, a new textile cord ZOLR-P will be used as a reinforcing material," she noted.

The new material replaces the 21PDU-P and 272PDU-P textile cord brands, and it is reported that its introduction "will make another step in the constantly relevant direction of improving the quality of agricultural tires of Belshina JSC".
