Linglong increases capacity in Serbia

Shandong Linglong Tire has announced that due to the growth in market demand, it intends to invest around $645 million in expanding its plant in Zrenjanin (Serbia).

It is reported that the project implementation will begin by the end of this year, and it is planned to be completed in December 2030, after which the annual capacity of the Serbian plant will be increased by 1.1 million tires (800,000 truck tires, 150,000 agricultural tires, and 50,000 OTR tires), and the production of truck tire retreading will also be launched (around 100,000 per year).

The project will be implemented using both Linglong's own funds and bank loans (in a ratio of 30/70%).

The plant in Serbia was launched two years ago, and it is expected that by the end of this year, the enterprise will be able to produce up to 12 million passenger car tires and 1.6 million truck and bus tires.
