Linglong "shod" the world's most powerful hybrid tractor

The Chinese company Lingong Agricultural Machinery has chosen Linglong LR7000 tires for its new 9E series tractor, which develops over 600 horsepower and is considered the most powerful hybrid in its segment.

The tractor is equipped with eight 650/85R38 size tires, which, as noted by Linglong, provide "exceptional load-carrying capacity, minimal slippage, and low soil compaction".

"In recent years, the Chinese electric vehicle and hybrid industry has been booming, which has not only led to an increase in the number of Chinese automotive brands on the global market but also given a boost to related industries such as the tire industry," said Jean-Paul Speeker, Sales and Marketing Director of Linglong's Special Tire Division in Europe. "As pioneers in this field, we are currently one of the leading brands in the Chinese market for supplying tires for electric and hybrid vehicles due to our experience and innovative technologies. From 2020 to 2023, Linglong held the top spot in this segment of the Chinese market, and in 2023, it even led the global ranking of tire suppliers for this type of vehicle."

Linglong's LR7000 agricultural tires have a radial structure, and the flat contact patch provides even load distribution, which reduces soil compaction. The tread pattern is designed to increase traction and reduce the likelihood of damage, while the rubber compound is optimized for increased wear resistance. The tires are available in sizes ranging from 600/70 R28 to 710/75 R42.

Linglong notes that the supply of tires for the new tractor confirms the manufacturer's leadership in the electric and hybrid vehicle tire sector, and in the future, "both companies will continue to cooperate and jointly develop high-quality and environmentally friendly tires, contributing to the transformation of the agricultural machinery market and making a contribution to the development of global agriculture".
