In 2025, Kumho Tire increased sales by 3.7% to 4.7 trillion won (3.2 billion dollars), while operating profit decreased by 2.2% to 575.5 billion won (400 million dollars). Despite the decline in profit, the operating margin reached a record 12% for the company.

In the fourth quarter, sales were 1.16 trillion won (800 million dollars), and Kumho emphasizes that quarterly revenue has remained above 1 trillion won since the end of 2023.

Kumho adds that, despite the introduction of new tariffs in the US and a fire at the plant in Gwangju (South Korea), the company was able to ensure sustainable revenue growth due to an increase in tire sales, including in key markets such as Europe and the US. In addition, thanks to the launch of new products, such as Kumho Ecsta Sport and Road Venture RT, the share of tires with a diameter of 18 inches or more in sales increased to 43.2%, and Kumho also increased the share of electric vehicle tires in OE sector shipments, which was 20.4% in 2025.

In 2026, Kumho plans to increase sales to 5.1 trillion won (3.5 billion dollars), with the proportion of large-diameter tires in sales expected to increase to 47%, and the share of EV tires in shipments to automakers to 30%.

"Despite ongoing uncertainties related to US tariffs and intensified competition, Kumho Tire plans to focus on strengthening its position in the global market and improving profitability by enhancing its high-margin product lineup and expanding production capacity," the company says.
