Kumho will sell Continental tires in Korea
Since August 3, premium tires Continental have been available in Korea through the Tire Pro retail network, owned by Kumho Tire. The agreement was signed by management representatives of both companies, and Kumho notes that cooperation with the German manufacturer is part of its multi-brand strategy aimed at further strengthening the competitiveness of its retail network and expanding customer choice.
"By offering the premium Continental line alongside its own products, Kumho Tire will be able to provide tires tailored to various driver needs and vehicle characteristics," the company added.
Tire Pro stores will feature key Continental models, including original equipment tires for Korean and imported vehicles, as well as premium products such as the all-season Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus and AllSeasonContact 2. Continental will become the first third-party brand to be sold at Tire Pro centers.
"We are very pleased that an even greater number of Korean consumers will now have access to Continental's innovative technologies," said Nikolaos Kyriazopoulos, Managing Director of Continental Tire Korea. Kim Sung, Senior Vice President of Sales at Kumho, added, "Going forward, we will continue to enhance customer satisfaction and expand the Tire Pro product range through partnerships with various global brands."
