The Red Bull Driftbrothers team switches to Westlake tires

The popular German team Red Bull Driftbrothers, participating in drift - one of the most spectacular and demanding forms of world motorsport - has switched to Westlake Sport RS tires, signing an official partnership agreement with the Chinese company ZC Rubber, which is among the top ten largest tire manufacturers in the world.

The start of Red Bull Driftbrothers' cooperation was celebrated in Germany, where they showed a show program before the legendary 24-hour race at the "Nurburgring". Due to the hot weather, the tires had to withstand particularly high loads, and ZC Rubber emphasizes that the choice of tire can play a crucial role in drift, as maximum grip and control are required.

The new partnership is designed for the long term, and the tire manufacturer intends, among other things, to involve team member Elias Hountondji in the development of new products, as well as to further improve the recognition of the Westlake brand in the European market. In addition, it is expected that the demonstration of the effectiveness of tires in extreme conditions will increase the value of the brand both among end-users and car manufacturers.

"Their trust in the Westlake brand confirms the high properties of our tires, including in the challenging conditions of drift, and our partnership is based on a common desire to expand horizons."

Elias Hountondji, a drifter and engineer from Red Bull Driftbrothers, added that "tires are crucial for our sport. They must withstand extreme loads while providing a consistently high level of grip until the end of their service life, and Westlake Sport RS perfectly meet these requirements. The tires are extremely reliable at any temperature and tread depth. Even with very low tread depth, you still feel absolutely confident."
