Kia EV4 is equipped with Nexen tires

Nexen Tire announced that the all-season tires Nexen N’Fera Supreme S have been included in the original equipment of the Kia EV4, the first electric sedan from the Korean brand. 

The N’Fera Supreme S tires were designed with the characteristics of electric vehicles, such as high torque, and, as the manufacturer claims, are distinguished by reduced noise and are able to improve handling sensitivity and braking efficiency, as well as the level of comfort. 

In Nexen, they add that the tires are suitable for both everyday conditions and sports driving, and the special rubber compound and improved load distribution increase traction and stability, including during long trips. In addition, the tread pattern is optimized to maintain maximum efficiency even after reaching 50% wear, while the aerodynamic sidewalls reduce air resistance, reducing energy consumption. 

Nexen has been collaborating with Kia for a long time and supplies tires for electric vehicles such as the EV3, EV6, and EV9, which, as noted in the tire company, demonstrates its competitiveness in the electric vehicle tire market. 

Overall, among Korean manufacturers, Nexen supplies tires for the widest range of electric vehicles from local brands, and in the future, it plans to expand its presence in this market segment. Collaboration with premium global automotive brands in Europe and other regions began in 2016.
