Kama Tyres imports replacement karting tires

The Russian market for karting tires currently depends on imports, but the situation may change as the designers of the Kamaz NTs "Kama" together with the technologists of PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" have mastered the production of this type of product, and an experimental batch of tires has already been tested and received positive feedback from professional athletes, reports the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.

The first batch included slicks and studded winter tires with a mounting diameter of 5 inches for various kart models, featuring a tubeless design that reduces the risk of sudden pressure loss, while the diagonal structure is designed to provide confident handling. 

The tires also have a two-layer structure that helps withstand increased loads, and it is reported that the requirements for tolerances and control of finished products were set stricter than for car diagonal tires, which should guarantee optimal quality.

Kama Tyres has been actively developing new areas in recent years, and to the basic types of products - passenger and truck tires - tires for agricultural and other special equipment, as well as for quad bikes and bicycles, have been added.
