Hankook supplies tires for Audi Q7 and Q9
For the Audi Q7 mid-size crossover and its "older brother" Q9, Hankook UHP class tires of two models were approved: all-season Ventus S1 evo Z AS X and summer Ventus evo SUV, which will be equipped with cars on the Korean and European markets.
Both approved tires were developed in close cooperation with Audi, and the Ventus S1 evo Z AS X model is made from a rubber compound with a high concentration of silica, which is designed to improve traction on both dry and wet asphalt, as well as on snow, and the durability of the tires was increased with the help of aramid fibers in a hybrid breaker and an enhanced sidewall design. For Audi, the tires are supplied in sizes with a diameter from 20 to 23 inches.

In turn, the summer tire Ventus evo SUV was created with the aim of improving the balance between usually conflicting characteristics, and the manufacturer claims that with the help of a new tread pattern and artificial intelligence technologies, the developers were able to combine optimal handling on wet roads with efficient braking on dry pavement, high-speed stability, and a long service life.

Previously, Hankook tires were also approved for other key Audi models, from premium sedans A3 and A4 to crossovers Q3, Q7, and Q8, and the tires from the flagship Ventus line have shown themselves well in independent European tests, and, for example, the passenger Hankook Ventus evo recently won the Auto Bild and Auto Bild Allrad tests.
