Where are MOMO tires manufactured?

At the recent The Tire Cologne 2024 exhibition in Cologne, the company MOMO Tires introduced several novelties, and Alexandra Peccha, marketing manager of the Italian brand, spoke about the current production location of MOMO tires.

"We are transferring all tire production to Europe," she noted in a conversation with Pneus News. "In fact, in addition to Hankook [which has its own production in Hungary], we are now also cooperating with Linglong, and our tires are being produced at their new plant in Serbia. The partnership with these two companies is of great importance and required significant investments, but we are confident that they will pay off, considering the existing problems with importing products from Asia."

According to Peccha, the new winter tires MOMO W20 Europa will be produced exclusively in Europe and will appear in warehouses starting from September 2024 in more than 60 sizes. The new tire Momo Outrun M20 Pro was also presented in Cologne - an updated version of the summer model Outrun M20 for compact and medium-sized cars, which will be produced in sizes with a diameter of up to 16 inches and will be available, among other things, in a version adapted for use on electric cars (in this version, more sports tires MS 300 are also offered).

"By the end of the year, new all-season and winter light truck tires will also be released, which will also have the "Made in Europe" label, and then a new summer model for this segment will appear," Peccha said. "We have also introduced MOMO M-Attack - our new flagship sports tire, which will be one of the few products still produced in the East."

Regarding whether there are any other new projects in the works, Peccha replied: "Yes, there are many, but we will talk about them in due time. I can say that we intend to supply M-Attack for a number of racing series, but you will hear about it later..."

MOMO was founded in 1964 and now, in addition to tires, offers various automotive components such as steering wheels, discs, seats, and more.
