Enso releases premium tires for electric vehicles

British Enso Tyres, which positions itself as the world's first company specializing exclusively in tires for electric vehicles, has launched a new line of UHP tires called Enso Premium, designed for vehicles such as the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, and allowing for reduced energy consumption and air pollution when worn.

"The launch of the new line will significantly expand Enso's product range," the company noted, adding that they have already successfully collaborated with car parks and will now begin supplying tires to end-users who are increasingly buying electric vehicles.

The new tires have received an "A" rating in the European labeling system for both economy and wet grip, and Enso emphasizes that they will help electric vehicle owners travel further on a single charge, with energy efficiency achieved without compromising safety or comfort. Judging by the available images, the tires are manufactured in Serbia at the Linglong plant.

"Enso's mission has always been to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles with tires that improve their performance," said co-founder and CEO Gunnlaugur Erlendsson. "With the introduction of the Enso Premium line, which joins the Enso Pro family for car parks, we are filling a new niche in the market, offering electric vehicle drivers a specially designed, affordable, and premium alternative."

The company adds that the new line was developed in response to growing consumer demand for tires specifically designed for electric vehicles and meeting drivers' requirements for efficiency and environmental sustainability, and the Enso Premium tires are characterized by reduced rolling resistance and also wear out more slowly than regular tires, reducing environmental pollution.

Earlier, Enso became a partner of several organizations, such as Uber, and the company's tires have also been approved as replacement tires for London's electric LEVC taxis. Now, the company intends to attract the attention of private electric vehicle owners in the UK, Europe, and North America.
