Dunlop RoadSmart IV — winner of the Motorrad test

The latest Dunlop RoadSmart IV tire was announced as the winner of the Motorrad test after the leading German magazine tested tires from six brands in the sport touring sector, conducting a total of 15 evaluations.

Motorrad put all the tires through a comprehensive assessment on the road and on the track, using a BMW R1250R motorcycle. The Dunlop RoadSmart IV tire, launched this month, received the highest rating in 12 out of 15 tests, including the wet road handling test.

"In the rain, the tire shows phenomenal characteristics. The large grip reserve on wet asphalt can be felt from the first meter, including when cornering. This gives a very high level of confidence," said Motorrad in their summary of the RoadSmart IV's characteristics.

The testers were no less enthusiastic about the tire's performance on rough roads.
