Dunlop Prepares for European Bike Week
Tire brand Dunlop will return to the European Bike Week (EBW), the largest motorcycle festival in the region, which will take place on September 3-8 on the shores of Lake Faak in Carinthia, Austria, and is expected to attract over 100,000 guests, as the official sponsor of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle owners' parade.
Dunlop and Harley-Davidson have been collaborating for over 40 years, and currently, the famous brand's tires are installed on the most popular models in the motorcycle manufacturer's lineup, such as the Fat Boy, Softail, and Sportster. In 1983, Dunlop tires were first included in the Sportster and FL equipment, and they are still installed on various touring and cruising motorcycles from Harley-Davidson. Last year, Dunlop also participated in the celebration of Harley-Davidson's 120th anniversary, which took place in Budapest.
"We are pleased to return to the European Bike Week and be part of an event that brings together so many motorcycle enthusiasts," said Roberto Finetti, Marketing Manager at Dunlop Motorcycle Europe. "Our collaboration with Harley-Davidson has lasted for over four decades, which speaks to the fact that our cult brands share common values."
Tom Robinson, Customer Experience Manager at Harley-Davidson's European office, added that "EBW is one of the largest events in the motorcycle world, and in September, tens of thousands of bikers from all over the world will gather in Austria." "We are very pleased that the tire giant will join us and become a sponsor of the iconic Harley-Davidson motorcycle parade," he said.
