Ceat expands crossover tire lineup

For the new summer season, Ceat is expanding its range of tires for crossovers and SUVs, according to a statement from the Indian manufacturer, whose European Technical Center (ETC) is located in Mörfelden-Walldorf near Frankfurt.

In particular, the summer range of Ceat SportDrive SUV will be expanded, and in the future, tires will be offered in 20 sizes from 215/65 R16 to 275/45 R20, and in the new season, the 255/55 R18 size will be released, which is suitable, for example, for the BMW X5. All-season tires Ceat 4SeasonDrive SUV are also available in this size, which will be offered in 11 sizes from 235/65 R17 to 235/50 R19 in the new year.

"Ceat tires for SUVs impress with excellent stability, especially in corners, as well as improved grip on wet roads," said Frank Gildorf, head of the ETC, adding that "SportDrive SUV shows outstanding driving qualities compared to competitors, primarily at high speeds."
