ASHK modernizes the production of truck tires
The Altai Tire Complex (ATC) has announced the start of the strategic project "Modernization of Truck Tire Production", which, according to the company, "is aimed at technological updating and strengthening positions within the framework of import substitution". Financial support for the project will be provided by the Industry Development Fund (IDF).
It is reported that the new investments will significantly increase the supply of truck tires to leading domestic automakers, and the company's capacity will increase substantially overall, with a special emphasis planned on mastering the production of new models specifically designed for challenging conditions, including off-road and various climatic zones in Russia.
As part of the project, the production lines will be modernized, equipment will be purchased, new technologies will be introduced, and employee qualifications will be improved, with work starting soon at the preparation stage. All new equipment will be labeled "With the support of the Industry Development Fund".
"The modernization of truck tire production is a crucial stage in the development of the Altai Tire Complex," the company notes. "This step will strengthen the company's market position, improve product quality, create conditions for professional growth of employees, and open up new prospects for expanding the range in the interests of the domestic automotive industry".
