Apollo has expanded its range of truck tyres
Apollo Tyres has expanded its range of truck tires by adding the Apollo EnduRace RD and Apollo EnduRace RA models in new 60-series sizes for 22.5-inch rims.
According to Ivo Poulikan, Vice President of Commercial for Apollo's European operations, "our entry into the 60-series tire segment reflects our ongoing commitment to offering best-in-class products for regional transportation, and the expansion of our popular EnduRace line will enable us to serve a much wider audience."
The Apollo EnduRace RD and EnduRace RA tires are suitable for operation in harsh conditions, and the 3PMSF marking confirms that they can be safely used on snow. In addition, Apollo claims that the durability of both tires is 1.5 times higher than required by European standards.
The EnduRace RD tire, released in the new 295/60 R22.5 size, is designed for the steering axle of trucks. The optimized contact patch shape improves the even distribution of loads and the level of traction throughout the year, while the special compound makes the tires more durable, and the reinforced carcass, like other models in the EnduRace family, improves stability and retreadability.
In turn, the EnduRace RA (introduced in the new popular 315/60 R22.5 size) features a tread pattern with sinusoidal grooves, which improves handling throughout the life of the tire and prevents uneven wear when operating on any axle. The tire also received a "C" rating for rolling resistance, "B" for wet traction, and "A" for noise level according to the EU labeling system.
