The premiere of two new Kenda tires has been announced
In 2025, Kenda will return to the Autopromotec exhibition and present two new all-season tires: the Klever A/T 4S KR615 with increased off-road capability and the Kenergize 4S EV KR214 - the first Kenda tire for electric vehicles, specifically designed for the European market.
The manufacturer claims that the Klever A/T 4S provides reliable traction and a high level of comfort on asphalt and is designed with the fact that Europe is seeing an increasing demand for vehicles that can handle both urban streets and off-road terrain. The tire is made from a special rubber compound with added silica, designed to improve the balance of driving characteristics on dry and snowy surfaces, as well as off-road.
The Klever A/T 4S features a tread pattern with four large longitudinal grooves, which, according to Kenda, increases traction on snow and mud, while the zigzag-shaped lamellas improve performance on wet and icy surfaces, and the optimized tread pitch reduces noise. The 3PMSF marking on the sidewalls indicates that the tires can be used on snow.
In turn, the Kenergize 4S EV tire, developed at Kenda's European Technical Center (KETC) in Germany, features reduced rolling resistance and increased strength, which is required due to the high torque and mass of electric vehicles.
Kenda notes that, according to data from the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA), in 2024, the local market saw a significant recovery in demand for tires for passenger and light commercial vehicles, and the fastest-growing sales are for all-season tires, indicating that consumer preferences are changing and they are increasingly choosing tires that can be used at any time of the year, abandoning the need to change tires twice a year. At the same time, the growing popularity of electric vehicles is leading to an increased demand for tires specifically designed for this segment, which is becoming increasingly important in the European market.

"We are not just reacting, but trying to anticipate new trends, and our team at KETC works every day to create usable innovations that take into account the trends in the mobility sector. The two new tires reflect this approach, and they are reliable and high-performance products that meet the current and future needs of European motorists."
