Aeolus has expanded its range of forklift tires

On September 17, Aeolus Tyres, as part of a project to expand and improve the efficiency of OTR tire production at the Jiaozuo (Henan, China) plant, for the first time manufactured a tire for large forklifts in the size 45/65 R45, which "confirms the company's wide capabilities in the field of development and production of radial tires of large diameter".

The AL516 tire in the new size is designed for 20-ton forklifts, which are suitable for loading quarry trucks with a payload capacity of 100-130 tons. The tires have a reinforced rim structure, while a special rubber compound and a modified carcass structure reduce the risk of damage from impacts and contacts with sharp stones, increasing the tire's service life, and a dense ultra-deep tread pattern increases the traction and reliability of the tires in difficult conditions.

Chinese media report that Aeolus is investing around 1.5 billion yuan (210 million dollars) in increasing the production of large tires. After the project is completed, the output of tires in this category in Jiaozuo will increase by 20,000 units per year.

Aeolus notes that as part of the project, a comprehensive modernization of production is being carried out, and the new investments will make it possible to improve the stability of product quality and strengthen the company's leading position in the global market for large tires.

Aeolus tires for forklifts and graders are used in hydroelectric power, mining, construction, and other industries, and the company supplies tires, among other things, to leading manufacturers of such equipment, such as Luigong, XCMG, and Volvo.
